The recall encompasses 71 products manufactured between May 10 and July 29, 2024. These products were distributed nationwide.
The impacted products include liverwurst, ham, and various luncheon meats.
Weight of Meat Recalled
Boars Head has recalled a staggering 207,000 pounds of deli meat, posing a significant threat to consumers.
Contamination Concerns
The recalled products have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that can cause severe illness, particularly in vulnerable individuals such as the elderly and those with weakened immune systems.
