Emergency evacuation after suspicious device found in Newtownabbey
Residents evacuated in Ashford Lodge
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has evacuated residents in the Ashford Lodge area of Newtownabbey, County Antrim, after a suspicious device was found.
The PSNI said the device was found in the early hours of Tuesday morning and that a cordon has been put in place.
A number of homes have been evacuated and residents are being advised to stay away from the area.
